Finally up and running

Well folks, starryeyedrissa.com the blog is finally up and running. Thanks in large part to a bunch of people who heard me complaining and helped unravel the frustration. Much thanks to mercutiom for being um amazing and working on it while he’s at work!

Ok so, welcome to the world where photos are primarily taken from above. Its kinda crazy and hectic here, but what can I say? Usually I like it.

So basically the past week has been rather insane. I found out some very sad news, that my grandmother has cancer. From what I hear she’s going to be fine after she has surgery but that doesn’t really make me feel any better. Also, for about a week and a half I’ve been moving and that hasn’t been super fun. I work in Phoenix and live in Gilbert so that’s a good 25 miles + drive to and from everyday. So I haven’t had much time to do anything. Get up around 630 am, get to work, work my little starry self for 8-10 hours, try and get home ASAP and move some stuff over a weeks time. So I moved everything but my mattress, my desk, and my futon by myself. Luckily for that stuff I managed to get a friend to grab a big truck (as compared to my small truck) and help me out. So now everything is at the new house. My room is tiny and we’re arguing constantly over everything from internet to cleaning to money. I just want everything to settle down and be calm and ok again. I really wish she understood I am here for like 10 hours a day and 8 of those are sleeping.

Anyways, I’ll get back to you tomorrow if anything comes to mind or to add more on the past week. Right now food is beckoning me!

OK, let’s get a few things straight
    1) if you are going to get a speeding ticket, it has to be at least 10 miles over the limit anything less and the cop has nothing better to do. That means people can start robbing banks in whatever town it was you got that speeding ticket.

    2) everything is temporary so evening the aruguing will stop, that means enjoy it while it lasts.

    Hi Starryeyed,
glad to hear your blog is up and running. It was great to meet you in person. Was mercutiom at tweetup? If so, I must have missed him. Good luck and keep looking up (to the stars!)

    I gotta disagree with Albert.

By law, 1 mph over is considered speeding. There is no grace period.
